Jared Preview’s the 200th Episode’s Musical Surprise…
TV Line shared a video of Jared and Jensen chatting about the 200th Episode, which you can view when clicking the source. Below you can read snippet of the interview, but beware of potential spoilers!
“It’s awe-inspiring and kind of unbelievable.”
That’s how Supernatural star Jared Padalecki describes the show’s milestone 200th hour, in which a case brings the Winchesters to an all-girls school that’s staging a performance of Carver Edlund’s books.
“Imagine the surprise on Sam and Dean’s face when they walk through the doors and find a musical-theater production” based on their lives, co-star Jensen Ackles shares in the following behind-the-scenes video.
Spoilers for Supernatural Season 10 have also been released. Please read at your own discretion!
This fall, Sam Winchester will find himself in a place he’s rarely been over the first nine seasons of Supernatural: he’ll be the one to save his demon of a brother.
Any fan knows that Dean Winchester has saved his brother many a times over the years… but with Dean now a demon (thanks for nothing, Crowley!), it will be Sam’s turn to come to the rescue.
If you weren’t a fan of how toxic Sam and Dean’s relationship was in Season 9, prepare to be extremely satisfied with Season 10 of “Supernatural.” According to Jared Padalecki, even though Dean’s going to find himself dealing with life as a demon, Sam’s commitment to finding and helping his brother won’t waver like it has in the past.

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are all smiles while sitting on a panel for their long-running series Supernaturalduring The CW’s portion of the 2014 TCA Summer Press Tour on Friday (July 18) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The guys, joined by producer Jeremy Carver, both revealed their thoughts on when the series should end.
If there’s one thing I learned at the Summer TCA panel for Supernatural, it’s that Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki love their fans. The two are coming up on a 10th season playing Dean and Sam Winchester, and while we did get spoilers for the new season, it was mostly Ackles and Padalecki talking about how the show’s giant fan base has kept them wanting to come back year after year. Here are some of their best quotes from the panel about Supernatural viewers, their relationship with each other, and why the show probably won’t end anytime soon.
In honor of “Supernatural’s” upcoming tenth season, The CW brought showrunner Jeremy Carver and stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki to the Television Critics Assn. summer press tour to reflect on the show’s milestone anniversary and the future of the cult hit.
Are Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki singing on Supernatural?!
The CW hit is tackling a major first in Season 10: At the 2014 Summer TCA Press Tour, showrunner Jeremy Carver revealed to E! News that Supernatural’s 200th episode will be something of a “musical-ish” episode, which the longrunning series has never done. Feel free to take a moment to bask in the sheer awesomeness of this idea.
Below is a summary of the TCA Panel, with a few potential spoilers:
Supernatural: 10 (plus) seasons and a movie?
Stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki and executive producer Jeremy Carver did not seem ready to hang up their demon-hunting hats on Friday at the Television Critics Assoc. summer press tour in Beverly Hills.
“There’s so much story left to tell,” Carver said, giving props to the cast and crew. “It remains the hardest-working bunch I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. There’s no quit in anybody.”
The schedule for this years Comic Con has just been announced, with the Supernatural panel taking place on the 27th July. Alongside Jared, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Mark P Sheppard and Executive Producer, Jeremy Carve shall be there.
Mark Pedowitz, The CW’s president, was at Television Critics Association press tour today and talked about the future of their shows. For Supernatural, we have good news.
“As a fan of the show, who’s seen every episode, as long as I’m here and those numbers hold, God bless them. They can go as long as they want.”
As for the potential Supernatural spinoff, which will be set up in a backdoor pilot this season, Pedowitz was asked if that was still in play and he replied, “Yes, very much so. It’s set in Chicago. Hunters, monsters… The script just came in.”
As for whether any of the main Supernatural characters would appear in the spinoff, which will be centered around new characters, Pedowitz said, “In the spinoff episode, they’d be in it. Whether they’re in the series… For me, for spinoffs to work, you have to stand them on their own two legs, so you can only do those crossovers when the time is right, like we did with The Originals. We didn’t see Michael Trevino’s character, Tyler, until the seventh or eighth episode. By that time, the show was standing up on its own two legs.”

Jared among the 10 hottest guys of CW stars
The blog Fashion Style made a list with top 10 of hottest male CW stars and Jared is in the 6th place.
Padalecki, 31, plays the youngest Winchester brother, Sam. He always seems like he’s getting in some sort of trouble, but his brother Sam is always there for him. His facial features are definitely a reason why he’s on our Top 10 Hottie list.
Supernatural is in the 9th place on the list of 20 Best TV Shows Of 2013 from Empire Online.
The tagline: If anything can go wrong… This year saw: Series 8 Cast: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Mark A. Sheppard, Osric Chau, Felicia Day
After a relatively lacklustre season 7, the consistently underrated Supernatural was back on form. Brothers Dean (Ackles) and Sam (Padalecki) Winchester continue fighting demons and killing things while bickering, this time with an arc that sees them attempting to lock the gates of Hell forever. As you’d expect of this particular pair of walking disasters, everything that could go wrong does so, amid brilliantly bizarre episodes that see them fighting cartoon tropes, golems, time-travellers, LARPers and gods. This season also features a Winchester wielding Mjolnir, just in case you needed some superheroics for good measure.
Best episode: Bitten, an almost Winchester-free story of werewolves and found footage.
Fangasm has reported Jared’s meet and greet at the Supernatural Convention of this month. Jared’s parents sat in on his meet and greet too, watching from the back as Jared chatted with fans. He shared an amusing story about being on a flight recently. He was sitting with Mark Pellegrino, and Jensen, Danneel and JJ were sitting in front of them. Everyone was very respectful, but he said it was funny watching people’s reactions as they walked by and realized how many members of the SPNFamily were on the plane – people would be hitting their friend and whispering “Omg, look at that!”
A fan asked if Jared had made any decisions in Season 1 that he’d had to carry over into Season 9, and if he regretted any. He didn’t say he regretted anything, but he did say that he was told while shooting the pilot that they wanted the character of Sam to be intelligent. Jared himself is a smart guy from a family of academics, so in the first couple episodes he really tried to get that across.
One of the most emotional moments of Jared’s meet and greet came after a fan talked about how incredible the Season 8 finale was, and said that the Show – and Jared – should get an Emmy. Jared said that for him, talking to fans is what it’s all about. He doesn’t need an Emmy to know how people feel about the Show, doesn’t need that judgment by his peers.
As announced at Comic Con, Supernatural may have a spin-off, a new show created from this one. Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer gave some interviews on July 29, sharing some new details about this new show, adding to the information that new characters will be introduced on episode 20 of the new season.
In fact, he [Carver] said, “we’ll have main characters who are both human and monsters.” That will include, added Singer, “families of monsters and families of hunters.” […]
Starting with a fresh slate of characters, Singer explained, felt like a non-traditional approach to a spin-off that also left room for Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) to introduce viewers into the world. “Most spin-offs, you spin characters out and create a show about them. Jared and Jensen will be in the spin-off, but it’s an entirely different cast of characters,”Singer said. “And unlike Supernatural – which is a road show — this will take place in one place with a wider cast of characters.”
[…] “It’s going to be quite a departure — the same world but from a whole new perspective,” Carver added.
Meanwhile, CW president Mark Pedowitz said on Tuesday morning that the spin-off is in no way an indication of an upcoming end-date for the mother series. “As long as they keep telling great stories and Jared and Jensen still want to do it, why wouldn’t you continue?” he said.
